Leaders and Heads of the UPT ICT Division Hold Coordination Meetings

Today, Thursday (23/5), the Information and Communication Technology Technical Implementation Unit (UPT ICT) held another coordination meeting, this activity was specifically attended by the Chair of the UPT ICT, the Secretary, the Head of the UPT ICT Sub-Division, and each Division Head.

The meeting was chaired directly by the Chairman of UPT ICT I Ketut Resika Arthana, S.T., M.Kom accompanied by Secretary Ida Komang Widhiarjaya, S.T. The agenda discussed at the meeting which started at 13.00 WITA consisted of several things (1) Arrangement of divisions, personnel, and main tasks and functions of each division, (2) UPT ICT work program, (3) Preparation for the handover of the position and inventory of the Head of UPT ICT, (4) Discussion of future work priorities for UPT ICT, and (5) Discussion of important matters related to the development of UPT ICT and the University from an ICT perspective.

“Plans for UPT ICT will carry out optimization as an IT enabler, ensuring that the existing system runs and is used by the academic community. “For systems that have not been used/maximized, they will be reported to the leadership,” said the Head of UPT ICT I Ketut Resika Arthana.

The working meeting lasted until 15.00 WITA, several other things were also discussed, such as improving Undiksha’s hotspot/internet network services, use of websites by institutions/faculties/prodi, mechanisms for borrowing facilities and rooms at UPT ICT.

Some of the results of today’s meeting are as follows.

  1. UPT ICT formed a new management structure consisting of six (6) divisions including the Information Systems Development Division, Infrastructure and Internet Division, Server and Data Center Division, Content and Multimedia Division, Research and Business Division, and Helpdesk and Documentation Division.
  2. The duties of each personnel and division have been approved and will be included in the Undiksha OTK.
  3. The next priority for UPT ICT is preparation towards the ISO 9001-2008 Standard, implementation of electronic signatures (digital signatures), implementation of information systems that are not yet running/maximal, improving webometrics, strengthening information systems (DSS, mobile applications) and important things towards better university ICT Good.

The implementation of various future programs cannot be carried out alone, UPT ICT requires the support of the entire academic community. Let’s work together and work together and start utilizing e-Ganesha services (information system/website/application) and various other ICT services that have been provided.
