UPA ICT Undiksha Holds Online Meeting with UNIMA on Information Systems Cooperation

Singaraja – The partnership between the Information and Communication Technology Academic Support Unit (UPA ITIK) ??of Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) and Manado State University (UNIMA) has strengthened with the recently held online meeting. This meeting was a further step in their collaboration in adopting a proven information system from Undiksha to be implemented at UNIMA.

The online meeting was attended by several important figures from both universities, including the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Orbanus Naharia, M.Sc., Deputy Chancellor for Planning, Finance and General Prof. Dr. Sanusi Gugule, M.Si., and Vivi Winny Saroinsong, S.Pi., M.A.P from the UNIMA Planning, Cooperation and Public Relations Bureau, and Kristofel Santa, S.ST, M.MT from the Secretary of the UNIMA Computer Center. The main purpose of this meeting was to provide a system demo to relevant parties at UNIMA so that they understand the use of the system before it is officially adopted.

In the demo, several main systems were demonstrated including the Planning and Budgeting Information System (SIPEPENG) and the Academic Information System. This aims to provide a clear picture of the function and use of these systems in the UNIMA environment.

Vivi Winny Saroinsong, S.Pi., M.A.P from the UNIMA Planning, Cooperation and Public Relations Bureau, expressed her thanks to Undiksha for her support and assistance in implementing the information system at UNIMA. He also suggested that Undiksha could visit UNIMA to provide direct learning to employees/staff who will use the system, as part of efforts to share best practices.

This collaboration is expected to strengthen the capacity and efficiency of data and information management at the two higher education institutions. This step confirms the commitment of both universities to improving the quality of academic services and management, as well as being an example of productive collaboration in the world of higher education.
