Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) ICT Undiksha is one of the units that carry out the task as a technical implementer that is directly related to information systems based on Information and Communication Technology (ICT). UPT Information and Communication Technology is a technical implementing unit in the field of development and management of information and communication systems and technology which is under and responsible to the Rector and coordinated by the Vice-Rector for the Academic Affairs. UPT Information and Communication Technology has the task of carrying out the development, management, and service of information and communication technology as well as the management of information systems and networks. As a technical service unit, UPT ICT continues to make developments in accordance with the demands and technological developments. The formation of the Undiksha UPT ICT has gone through a lot of various technical and non-technical obstacles. Before changing its name to UPT TIK, this unit was known as the Computer Center (PUSKOM).
In carrying out its duties, UPT Information and Communication Technology carries out the following functions:
- Preparation of UPT plans, programs, and budgets;
- Development of information and communication technology
- Information and communication technology management;
- Providing services in the field of information and communication technology;
- Information system development and management;
- Network development and management;
- Network maintenance and repair; and
- Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) administrative affairs.
