Singaraja, 22 May 2023 – Taking place in the UPA ICT Undiksha meeting room, the New Student Admissions Team-UPA ICT Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha held an important meeting on Monday (22/5/2023) with the agenda of finalizing the New Student Admissions System for the Independent Pathway. The meeting discussed preparations for the implementation of the Independent Pathway New Student Selection (SMBJM) which will open from 22 May to 30 June 2023.

During the meeting, the Undiksha ICT UPA TEAM announced that the SMBJM implementation for Diploma III, Diploma IV, and undergraduate (Strata I) study programs at Ganesha University of Education would use the 2023 UTBK SNBT Value ranking selection method. This decision was taken as part of the university’s efforts to seek prospective students who are qualified and have the potential to join Undiksha.

The selection method uses the 2023 UTBK SNBT Scores based on the results of the Computer Based Writing Examination (UTBK) conducted by the Higher Education Entrance Test Institute (LTMPT). UTBK is an important component in the selection of new student admissions at the national level. In this selection, the 2023 UTBK SNBT values ??will be used to rank prospective students based on their academic achievements.

During the meeting, the Undiksha ICT UPA TEAM also discussed technical steps related to the registration and implementation of SMBJM. The UPA ICT team ensures that the admissions system will run smoothly and fairly for all prospective students. The registration procedure and requirements that must be met by prospective students have also been clearly communicated at the meeting.

It is hoped that with an integrated selection system, Undiksha can produce prospective students who are qualified and ready to face the challenges of higher education. It is hoped that the implementation of the Independent Pathway New Student Selection at Ganesha University of Education can be the first step for prospective students in realizing their dreams and ambitions in the field of education.
