UPA ICT Undiksha Helpdesk Division Improves Information Systems Governance Through Mapping Documentation Responsible Persons

Singaraja – The Helpdesk Division of the Academic Support Unit for Information and Communication Technology (UPA ICT) at Ganesha Education University (Undiksha) Singaraja held a discussion regarding information system governance, on Tuesday (06/02/2024). During the meeting, a mapping of those responsible for documentation was carried out for each system developed by UPA ICT Undiksha.

This discussion is part of efforts to increase efficiency and transparency in managing information systems in the campus environment. With this mapping, it is hoped that there will be improvements in documentation management and helpdesk services for system users.

According to I Made Ardwi Pradnyana, S.T., M.T., Head of the UPA ICT Undiksha Helpdesk Division, dividing the person responsible for documentation is an important step in ensuring the smooth operation of the information system. “By clarifying the person responsible for documentation for each system, we can ensure that all related parties can easily access information related to system development, maintenance, and updates,” he said.

This mapping involved collaboration between the helpdesk team and system developers at UPA ICT Undiksha. Every information system developed, whether for internal or external campus purposes, will have a documentation person who is responsible for maintaining the related documentation.

Furthermore, I Made Ardwi Pradnyana, S.T., M.T., emphasized the importance of good information system management in supporting campus operations. “By mapping the person responsible for documentation, we hope to be able to provide better service to all system users in the campus environment,” he added.

This discussion also became momentum for UPA ICT Undiksha to continue to evaluate and improve information system governance. With collaboration between divisions and related parties, it is hoped that Undiksha can make optimal use of information technology to support academic and administrative activities on campus.
