In an effort to develop the MBKM Information System, the Undiksha Information and Communication Technology Academic Support Unit (UPA ICT) held a discussion that focused on designing and developing information systems to support the implementation of Merdeka Belajar Campus Merdeka at Undiksha. The meeting was attended by various parties, including the Head of UPA ICT Undiksha, Head of the Information Systems Division, Head of the Data Center Division, assigned programmers, and also student employment students who participated in helping in the design and development of this system.

The MBKM system is currently still in an intensive development stage. In a meeting held in the UPA ICT Undiksha meeting room on Monday (16/10/2023), stakeholders discussed various important aspects of developing this system. In the discussion, various things were discussed, including the user interface, features that would be included, as well as integration with existing systems at Undiksha.

The meeting focuses heavily on designing the system flow and setting assignments for developers. The MBKM system aims to be an Information System that makes it easier for students, lecturers, and teachers to manage the implementation of the Independent Learning – Independent Campus policy, which includes independent study activities, humanitarian projects, and research.

It is hoped that the MBKM system will soon be operational and can function according to the needs of students, lecturers, and supporting staff. With this system, it is hoped that students will find it easier to access and manage independent study activities, humanitarian projects, and research. This system is also expected to provide benefits to lecturers and teachers in monitoring and supporting student progress in the concept of Independent Learning – Independent Campus.

The development of the MBKM System is an important step in supporting Undiksha’s vision to become a tertiary institution that applies the concept of Independent Learning – Independent Campus. By focusing on information technology innovation, Undiksha is committed to providing a learning environment that is increasingly supportive, efficient, and affordable for all parties involved.
