Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) carried out the first wave of the 2021 Joint Selection for State University Entrance Test (UTBK-SBMPTN), on Friday (16/4/2021). This exam, which was attended by hundreds of participants, implemented strict Covid-19 prevention protocols.

Based on the data, there were 611 applicants for the first batch of exams, divided into the scientific, social-human, and mixed exams. Specifically, this Friday, the number of exam participants was 183 people, divided into two sessions, namely morning and afternoon.

Exam participants are required to implement health protocols by wearing masks, washing their hands, checking their body temperature, and maintaining their distance. One exam session lasts three hours for science and technology and social science, and five hours for mixed. Regarding this, Undiksha strives to maintain room comfort through sterilization and ensuring air circulation is always in good condition. Apart from that, room capacity is also set to be below 50 percent.

The first wave of exams will last until April 18, 2021. Undiksha will also carry out the second wave of exams from April 26 to May 2, 2021. Overall, exam registrants at Undiksha reached 2,238 people, who not only came from the Bali area but also from outside Bali. It is hoped that the implementation of this exam will continue to run well and receive support from the community. (hms)
