BSrE Reviews Undiksha Electronic Signature Implementation

Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) has implemented electronic certificates for a number of services. This is in order to create effective and efficient services. More than a year later, the implementation of electronic certificates was reviewed by the Electronic Certification Center (BSrE)-National Cyber ??and Crypto Agency, Tuesday (26/10/2021).

The review activity took place offline at the Undiksha UPT ICT Video Conference building. Also present at the activity were Undiksha Deputy Chancellor 1 Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.T.I. representing the Chancellor of Undiksha who was unable to attend, and all the leaders and staff of UPT ICT Undiksha who were tasked with supporting the implementation of TTE.

The review was carried out by a team consisting of Elena Sabarina, Taufiq Shokhiful Azhar, and Affifa Nurrahmawati. There were various agendas carried out, including the presentation of the results of the implementation of electronic certificates by Undiksha, clarification of a number of questions by the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) UPT team submitted by the BSrE team, as discussion/input on the implementation of TTE from BSrE-National Cyber ??and Crypto Agency.

The activity was opened directly by Deputy Chancellor 1 Undiksha Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.T.I went smoothly and smoothly.

“There are five systems that we have implemented with this electronic certificate. The first is related to the legalization of diplomas, transcripts, and SKPI for graduates, then there is the academic information system, then there is the remuneration system, then there is the e-office system, both mobile and web-based. “Then there is also submission of electronic signatures for all files or documents which can be used by lecturers, staff, and students,” he explained in the activity.

Apart from various review agendas, on the same occasion, there was also a socialization of updates to the integrated Esign system technology with the Esign On-Premise service model by BSrE staff Taufiq Shokhiful Azhar. The material presentation and program implementation practicum were carried out directly in front of the Undiksha UPT ICT programming staff.

The Undiksha electronic signature system, which was launched at the end of 2019, is planned to have module adjustments based on input from the BSre team. The five main systems that will be re-registered will immediately implement and replace the outdated P12 module next year.

The Esign module that has been developed by BSrE is certain to provide the benefits of easier implementation and better user security guarantees. The hope is that in the future the use of electronic signatures will increase and can be useful for all users.
