UPT ICT Holds Coordination Meeting for Preparation of Institutional Accreditation, Socialization, and Improvement of e-Ganesha System Services

Located in the video conference room of the UPT ICT building at Ganesha Education University, on Thursday (5/4) a coordination meeting was held between all employees/staff at UPT ICT. The main activity agenda is a coordination meeting in preparation for institutional accreditation, system socialization, and service improvement.

The meeting was filled with several activities such as sharing previous years’ institutional accreditation experiences and hearing suggestions and opinions on accreditation preparations in terms of system readiness, users, and institutional support. Apart from that, there is also a discussion regarding the e-Ganesha service currently running. Various UPT ICT services were also discussed again at this meeting.

Regarding institutional reaccreditation which will be held in 2018, there are various things that UPT ICT has prepared, such as a centralized data integration and validity plan, implementing system-based data archiving, as well as developing a system with just one login account.

In its implementation, UPT ICT only provides a home for filling in data, so in the future, it is hoped that each institution, unit, faculty, and department will be more active and help fill in, update, and manage data so that the goal of creating an information system is achieved. The existing e-Ganesha information system is expected to support and simplify data management within the Ganesha University of Education. In the future, it is hoped that several related units will start updating data and be able to work together to validate institutional data until the data becomes centralized and the data is up to date.

Through this coordination meeting, it is hoped that the publication and improvement of website data at each institution, unit, faculty, and department will be carried out immediately by the respective person in charge.

Apart from several things discussed above, the infrastructure supporting the implementation of e-learning was also discussed at the meeting. We hope that the preparation process until the day of major accreditation and institutional reaccreditation will run smoothly and the institution’s accreditation target will be REACHED
