The Information and Communication Technology Academic Support Unit (UPA ICT) at Ganesha Education University (Undiksha) is proud to welcome a comparative study visit carried out by a team from Palangkaraya University on Wednesday, 6 September 2023. This visit aims to explore the governance and development of information systems in the university environment, including Planning and Financial Information Systems, Information Technology and Computer Management, as well as library management at Undiksha.

The team from Palangkaraya University arrived eager to learn more about the best practices that have been implemented at Undiksha in managing and developing information systems. One of the main focuses of this visit is the Planning and Financial Information System, which is an important foundation in financial management and strategic planning at universities.

Apart from that, the team is also interested in exploring Information Technology and Computer Management at Undiksha, considering the importance of information technology in supporting university operations efficiently. Library management is also an important part of this visit’s agenda because libraries are the main source of knowledge in every higher education institution.

By carrying out this comparative study visit, it is hoped that Palangkaraya University will be able to gain inspiration and new knowledge that can be applied to improve the development of information systems in their own environment. Knowledge exchange between universities is an important step in facing increasingly complex information technology challenges.
