The Information and Communication Technology Academic Support Unit (UPA ICT) of Ganesha Education University (Undiksha) held an important coordination meeting to increase efficiency in managing data and assets at Ganesha Education University, on Tuesday (12/09/2023). This coordination aims to integrate existing assets in various units into a centralized asset management system.
This coordination meeting was also attended by the Head of the Information and Communication Technology Academic Support Unit (UPA ICT) along with the Secretary of UPA ICT. Programmer I Nyoman Yoga Setyawan, S.ST., who has a central role in developing the inventory system, participated in this event. Not only that, representatives from the State Property Management (BMN) Undiksha Rectorate were also present to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the inventory data produced.
The Asset System currently being used is a system that is expected to assist in recording and managing goods data in the Undiksha environment. This system has a significant impact on asset management at this university because it is able to provide solutions to various problems related to processing goods data, reporting goods data, as well as inventory management of goods that already exist throughout the Undiksha campus.
One of the main advantages of this system is its ability to record detailed item information and provide users with quick access for management, and data searching, as well as the ease of printing reports regarding the current state of the item. With this system, it is hoped that differences in inventory data that may occur in various institutions within Undiksha can be avoided.
The importance of this coordination is to ensure that the archiving of goods is centralized and accurate, as well as to create uniformity of inventory data across all institutions on campus. The aim is to provide maximum benefits for the entire Undiksha academic community while maintaining the standards that have been set in order to support the journey towards better accreditation.
UPA ICT Undiksha has shown a strong commitment to making this inventory system an effective tool for managing university assets. With cooperation and collaboration from all parties involved, it is hoped that this inventory system can be used optimally in inventory management at Undiksha.
