Vice Rector II to Undiksha Encourages UPA TIK to Optimize Performance in Information System Development

Singaraja – In an effort to evaluate and enhance the performance of the Academic Support Unit for Information and Communication Technology (UPA TIK) at Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha), Vice Rector II held a coordination meeting with the UPA TIK team on February 27, 2025. The meeting, which took place in the Basic Lab of UPA TIK, aimed to strengthen synergy and ensure work efficiency in advancing the university’s information system development. 

During the session, Vice Rector II, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Artanayasa, S.Pd., M.Pd., emphasized the importance of inter-unit coordination in developing an integrated information system. He highlighted that effective collaboration is crucial for minimizing miscommunication and ensuring that academic and administrative processes run smoothly. As Undiksha continues to pursue efficiency, well-structured coordination plays a vital role in meeting the university’s digital transformation goals.

Several key aspects of information system development were discussed, including follow-ups on data and information requirements across various university units. By aligning the efforts of UPA TIK with other divisions, the university aims to continuously improve ICT services to enhance Undiksha’s operational effectiveness.

In his directive, Vice Rector II encouraged the UPA TIK team to maintain enthusiasm and dedication in providing the best possible service to the Undiksha academic community. He also emphasized the need for innovation and adaptability in keeping up technological advancement to support Undiksha’s vision for digital excellence. 

The meeting concluded with a discussion session, allowing the UPA TIK team to share insights, challenges, and future opportunities in system development. With full support from university leadership, it is hoped that UPA TIK will continue to play a vital role in shaping a more advanced and integrated digital ecosystem at Undiksha.
