In preparation for implementing the plagiarism checking application, on Thursday (14/11) at the Postgraduate Program Auditorium building, socialization activities were carried out which were attended by all heads of study programs and employees in the Undiksha postgraduate environment.

The activity was opened directly by the Undiksha Postgraduate Director, Prof. Dr. I Gusti Putu Suharta, M.Si, and a resource person from the UPT ICT Undiksha team. This activity, which took place from 08.30 WITA, was divided into 2 presentations, namely the opening of initial information by I Ketut Resika Arthana, S.T., M.Kom. and secondly technical information on application use by I Nyoman Laba Jayanta, S.Pd., M.Pd.

The implementation of the Ganesha Education University plagiarism application using the Turnitin application will be used as a requirement to be able to continue to the student’s final exam. In the process, students will complete research supporting data and final assignment files in the academic information system, which will then be forwarded to the head of the study program to check the quality of their writing. In order to advance to the final assignment trial/examination, each student must receive plagiarism detection below the maximum threshold of 20% and receive a letter of passing plagiarism detection. Through this implementation, it is hoped that it can improve the quality of student writing.
