Ganesha Education University’s ICT UPT held a discussion forum on the procurement inventory system and accountability for goods in the Undiksha environment. This activity took place on Thursday, 16 November 2017 in the UPT ICT Undiksha video conference room, inviting sub-division heads and equipment department employees throughout the Ganesha University of Education.
The purpose of this FGD activity is as a form of open discussion regarding the inventory system that has been prepared previously. The FGD activity began with a presentation of the system introduction by the UPT ICT development team, system operating procedures, as well as a detailed explanation of the various features that have been provided.
The inventory system is a system that records and helps manage data on goods contained in the Ganesha University of Education. This system has a big influence on Undiksha agencies because it can help in solving problems with processing goods data, reporting goods data, and managing inventory of goods that already exist within the Ganesha University of Education. The system will record item information and users can carry out management, search quickly, or print reports on the current state of the item.
This FGD activity became a discussion forum for adjusting the system that has been developed at the center and developing advanced features for Undiksha’s support needs. Each invitee began to convey input regarding system development by accommodating user experience and needs. Especially in archiving goods and reporting the condition and status of goods owned by Undiksha.
The inventory system is expected to make the archiving of goods centralized and able to avoid differences in inventory data at each institution. Through this FGD activity, there will be various revisions for the perfection of the inventory website, the system will soon be completed and ready to support the needs of the academic community. Especially towards better accreditation, by meeting existing standards.
