Change the Old Tradition, Undiksha UPT TIK Invites the Use of Correspondence System

Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) Bali continues to strive to modernize the office administration system by encouraging the use of information technology. UPT TIK held a socialization of the application of the correspondence system. This activity aims to change the old tradition of managing letters that still use manual methods towards using a more effective and efficient correspondence system.

The socialization, which was held on Thursday (16/3) at the Aneka Lovina Villas and SPA Hotel, was attended by the Undiksha rector, who was represented by the Vice Rector for Academic Development and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd., Head of the Finance and General Administration Bureau, as well as invited representatives from Work Units and faculties related to correspondence management.

In his speech, the Head of UPT TIK Undiksha, I Ketut Resika Arthana, S.T., M.Kom., revealed that the developed correspondence system is expected to manage and organize the recording of incoming and outgoing letters in a structured and systematic manner. This correspondence system comes in two versions, the web version and the application version in the E-Ganesha mobile application menu. With the mobile version, users can access the correspondence system from anywhere and anytime, thus facilitating work and increasing the efficiency of mail management.

In the socialization, UPT TIK, as a speaker, explained how to use and apply the  correspondence system  in managing incoming and outgoing letters in the Undiksha environment. With the correspondence system, it is expected to reduce the use of paper and increase efficiency in creating and managing incoming and outgoing letters in the Undiksha environment.

In addition, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd., also emphasized that this correspondence system is expected to be integrated with other methods such as agenda and management of infrastructure facilities within Undiksha. Thus, Undiksha further strengthens its commitment to becoming a modern and information technology-based university.

Implementing the correspondence system within Undiksha is expected to change the old tradition of correspondence management that still uses manual methods, such as paper, which is less effective and efficient. With this socialization, UPT TIK Undiksha invites all parties to switch to a more modern correspondence system and facilitate correspondence management in the campus environment.
