On Thursday (14/2) Ganesha University of Education was visited by assessors from BAN-PT in the context of implementing institutional re-accreditation. Visitation activities were carried out with various activities such as interviews with the Chancellor and staff who focused on the seven accreditation form standards, interviews with alumni, students, and graduate users, and field assessments at the Lab, Library, and UPT ICT. There were five assessors present, namely Prof. Dr. Soesanto, M.Pd (Semarang State University), Prof. Dr. Made Sudarma, SE., MM., Ak (Brawijaya University), Prof. Dr. Indri Safitri Mungkono (Airlangga University), Prof. Dr. Taslim Ersam, MS., (Ten November Institute of Technology (ITS)) and Dr. Lukito Edi Nugroho (Gadjah Mada University).

The implementation of field assessment activities at the UPT ICT Building began at 14.00 WITA, with 2 BAN-PT assessor representatives directly represented, namely Dr. Lukito Edi Nugroho (Gadjah Mada University) and Prof. Dr. Soesanto, M.Pd (Semarang State University). The assessment activity was welcomed directly by the Head of UPT ICT Kadek Yota Ernanda Aryanto, S.Kom., M.T., Ph.D. accompanied by the Secretary, Head of Administration, and the entire Undiksha ICT UPT team. Also present was Deputy Chancellor I Undiksha Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Putu Arnyana, M.Si., and Vice Chancellor III Dr. I Gusti Ngurah Pujawan, M.Kes who accompanied the Assessor’s visit.

There are several activity agendas carried out at the Undiksha Information and Communication Technology UPT, such as:

  1. Physical visit of infrastructure
  2. Introduction to Undiksha ICT units and services
  3. Undiksha ICT service interview which was accepted by the entire academic community
  4. Information system service procedures
  5. Coordination of business processes in maintaining data security and suitability
  6. Data and network security information
  7. Several other things related to services, software, and ICT management

The visit, which lasted 1 hour, went well. UPT ICT is working as hard as possible to support the Institution’s accreditation this year. Various support systems have been prepared long before the Assessor’s visit and preparations have also been made in terms of equipment and networks to support the smoothness of the visitation on Thursday (14/2). System and network assistance during accreditation is also carried out by standing by directly at the activity location and monitoring from the data center and network room.

After the visitation, the largest university in North Bali just had to wait for the results to come out within one week at the latest. Of course, everyone hopes that Undiksha will succeed in getting A accreditation from BAN-PT.
