The Academic Support Unit for Information and Communication Technology (UPA TIK) at Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) is nearing full implementation of its innovative “Undiksha Harmony Goes to Home” program. This initiative aims to extend Undiksha Harmony internet access to the homes of Undiksha teaching and education staff, allowing them to stay connected to university networks from home.
In a meeting held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, in the UPA TIK Undiksha meeting room, the Head of the Network Security Infrastructure Division, Gede Arna Jude Saskara, S.T., M.T., along with the Secretary of UPA TIK, Ida Komang Widhiarjaya, S.T., Network Division staff, and the ISP Mega Data team, discussed the progress of this service’s implementation. The meeting highlighted the preparatory work already in place and the installation of modem devices in the homes of teaching and educational staff who have registered through UPA TIK.
As the next step, a meeting has been scheduled with the leadership of Mega Data, including the Managing Director, to discuss further steps in the provision of internet service by Mega Data. This meeting aims to resolve any outstanding issues, ensuring the internet service is delivered optimally and on schedule.
The “Undiksha Harmony Goes to Home” Program is expected to provide big benefits for Undiksha lecturers and education staff by delivering better and more stable internet access. This improvement is anticipated to support academic and administrative activities more efficiently and effectively from home, aligning with Undiksha’s commitment to enhancing service quality and connectivity for its entire academic community.
