Singaraja – Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) recently held an SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) Content Workshop to optimize data to improve the university’s position in the World University Ranking (WUR). The event was attended by website operators from various faculties and related units, and took place at the Sunari Singaraja Hotel, on Tuesday (19/03/2024).

In his speech, Vithyacharan Retnasamy PhD, one of the presenters at the workshop, highlighted the important role of WUR for Undiksha and the benefits that could be obtained if the university’s name was included in the ranking. One of them is opportunities for wider international cooperation and funding for international development.

Website operators from various faculties and related units are encouraged to play an important role in providing content related to activities related to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. They are given the hope that the content presented on each website will not only be informative but can also make a significant contribution to the publication of activities, research, and services that can improve Undiksha’s image on a global scale, especially in the WUR ranking.

This workshop is a strategic step for Undiksha in ensuring that the content presented on the university website not only describes academic activities but also conveys the university’s commitment to achieving internationally recognized sustainable development goals.
