Singaraja – The Academic Support Unit for Information and Communication Technology (UPA ICT) Ganesha Education University (Undiksha) held a Website Management Workshop in the Undiksha Environment. This activity was held as a follow-up to the results of the data preparation meeting for the World University Ranking (WUR) and took place on Monday, February 26, 2024, in the UPA ICT Basic Lab Room (UPA ICT Building, 1st Floor).
This workshop was attended by website operators from every unit in the Undiksha environment. In preparation for participating in international rankings, especially the QS World University Ranking (QS WUR), Undiksha is making various preparations to fulfill the assessments implemented by QS.
QS WUR has introduced the biggest methodological improvements by including three metrics, namely sustainability, employment outcomes, and international research networks. To fulfill this assessment, Undiksha is actively preparing the necessary data.
In this workshop, the Undiksha website operator was actively involved in managing documentation of real actions for implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) or sustainable development goals. SDGs with 17 points are the main focus in Undiksha’s preparations for international rankings.
“We invite website operators within Undiksha to play an active role in updating content related to the implementation of the SDGs. “This is one of the concerns in the international ranking that Undiksha will participate in, especially in QS WUR,” said the head of UPA ICT.
The presence of website operators from various units is expected to provide maximum contribution in presenting accurate and up-to-date information related to the implementation of SDGs at Undiksha. This workshop is one of the strategic steps to ensure that Undiksha is ready and competitive in the upcoming international rankings.
