Chancellor of Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha), Prof. Lasmawan, again appointed a number of officials. This inauguration is part of efforts to change Undiksha’s status from a Public Service Agency (BLU) to a Legal Entity State University (PTN-BH), on Tuesday (05/09/2023).
At the inauguration ceremony which took place at the Undiksha Auditorium, the leadership from the Rectorate, Faculty, and Postgraduate were also present. Officials appointed include Head of Department, Secretary of Department, Head of Faculty Laboratory, Coordinator of Postgraduate S1 and D4 Study Programs, Secretary of Masters and Doctoral Study Programs, as well as Head and Secretary of the Academic Support Unit within Undiksha
In his speech, Chancellor Prof. Lasmawan emphasized the importance of synergy between the entire Undiksha academic community in supporting changes towards PTN-BH. He invited the newly appointed officials to immediately take steps to change to improve the institution’s performance. According to him, this change must start with oneself, by building something big through small actions.
Prof. Lasmawan also highlighted the importance of tolerance and support among Undiksha members in realizing this change. Support each other, pray, and strengthen each other so that Undiksha can become better and immediately change from PTN-BLU to PTN BH.
Apart from that, Prof. Lasmawan also expressed his appreciation and thanks to the officials who had ended their term of office. They have made an extraordinary contribution to the progress of Undiksha.
In this context, the Head of the Information and Communication Technology Academic Support Unit (UPA ICT), I Ketut Resika Arthana, S.T., M.Kom. and Secretary, Ida Komang Widhiarjaya, S.T., M.Pd. who has been re-appointed, is expected to be able to synergize with all Undiksha components in helping realize the change of Undiksha from previously PTN-BLU to PTN-BH. They are expected to play an important role in the development of information and communication technology in the campus environment.
This inauguration is an important step in Undiksha’s journey towards changing its status, and it is hoped that it will bring significant progress in the development of higher education not only in Bali but also nationally and internationally.
