Don’t Become a Victim of Fraud!
We remind you of the serious threat of online fraud claiming to be leaders within the Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha). This is not only detrimental to individuals but also endangers the good name of our campus.
How did this scam happen?
Fraudsters often use the names and photos of Undiksha Officials to send fake messages or e-mails to victims. They try to solicit personal information, and bank details, or transfer funds on behalf of bogus programs.
How to Avoid Scams:
- Information Verification: Make sure always to verify every message or request that claims to be from the Undiksha Officials. Contact the campus directly to ensure the correctness of the information.
- Beware of Email Addresses or Websites: Carefully check the sender’s email address and website URL. Don’t rush into giving out sensitive information at the slightest sign of suspicion.
- Do Not Give Out Personal Information: Never give out account numbers, passwords, or other personal information via online messages.
- Report Suspicious Activity: If you receive a suspicious message or action, report it immediately to the campus or relevant authorities.
- Educate Yourself and Others: Share this information with friends, family, and fellow students so they can be more aware of these kinds of scams.
