On Monday (12/12) there was a Focus Group Discussion on Optimizing Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) ICT Governance towards ISO 9001 in 2022. The activity took place at Courtyard by Marriott, Nusa Dua, Bali, attended by all leaders of Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) and the UPT ICT team.
This activity is a continuation of the implementation of the Undiksha Rakorbang for the 2022 Fiscal Year which will take place at the same place. Starting the activity, the Head of UPT ICT I Ketut Resika Arthana, S.T., M.Kom. submit an initial report on program implementation. The purpose of the FGD is that UPT TIK is expected to be able to improve the quality of work in carrying out its duties as a developer and manager of information systems within Undiksha. So that the hope in the future is that the services provided are able to provide added value to support the achievement of Undiksha’s vision and mission.
Furthermore, the Head of UPT explained the role of ICT in life and learning.
“UPT ICT plays a role in creating innovation, technology in accordance with the policy direction of Undiksha leadership to optimize and streamline the current bureaucracy and processes. Therefore, this activity is very important to sit together to equalize the perception of UPT ICT governance so that the service becomes more qualified”, added the purpose of implementing the activity.
In the same report, there are various achievements of UPT ICT in 2021 which have carried out several important activities such as:
- Development of information systems
- Strengthening existing information systems
- Optimization and web assistance of institutions/units/faculty/study programs in the context of AQAS preparation
- Overview of the use of electronic certificates by BSSN
- UPT ICT supports the implementation of various institutional activities such as new student admissions, graduation, implementation of SKD Kemendikbud and Kemenag, implementation of CPNS SKB
- And is trying to raise the quality standard to the ISO 9001:2015 standard
There are 10 systems developed in 2021 including PAICAKU, backup and restore management system, independent campus system, e-voting system, smart payment undiksha, go Undiksha, LPPM pakerti system, Medical CBT system, SMBJM CBT desktop application and CBT mobile application.
Closing the initial report of activities, the leadership of UPT ICT also expressed their deepest gratitude to the Undiksha leadership who supported the activities and innovations carried out by UPT ICT.
After that, it was followed by a series of events including the opening of the event, the presentation of material by the Vice-Rector 2 Undiksha on Employee Performance of Environmental Work and Self-Awareness, the delivery of material by the Vice-Rector 1 Undiksha about UPT ICT Towards ISO 9001:2015, the delivery of material by Buda Suyasa about cloud computing, and ended with the presentation of material by Wayan Adi Sparta about CI or Continuous Integration.
The series of activities were also followed by discussions and hearings on performance and suggestions for implementing activities in 2022.
