On Friday (5/10) a total of 140 Undiksha midwifery students attended the UPT ICT building to take part in socialization activities on the use of the Academic Information System (SIAK). The socialization activities were divided into three rooms, namely the video conference room, east lab, and west lab of UPT ICT which were guided directly by members of the UPT ICT Team on duty.
The socialization started at 13.30 WITA and began with an explanation of the introduction of the Academic Information System, KRS procedures, KHS procedures, and the graduation process. Female students listened directly to the UPT ICT team’s presentation and tried the operation of SIAK to support female students’ academic activities
“Undiksha midwifery students are still carrying out manual KRS, it is hoped that through this socialization manual academic procedures will begin to be reduced and all academic activities will begin to be recorded in the system to make it easier in the future,” said one of the socialization sources.
In this socialization, the activity was divided into 2 sessions, the first session was attended by all 2018 midwifery students, and the second session was attended by all 2017 Undiksha midwifery students.
Furthermore, a detailed presentation process regarding the online KRS flow was carried out, each student was given a discussion session to ask questions about a series of uses of SIAK Undiksha. Apart from the academic information system web, there was also the introduction of other Eganesha systems such as the Undiksha questionnaire, Undiksha mobile (e-Ganesha), and the Undiksha Single Sign On (SSO) service.
On a previous occasion, training on the use of SIAK was also carried out which was attended by lecturers within the Undiksha midwifery department on Friday (28/9) in the video conference room of the Undiksha UPT ICT building.
