Ahead of the 2021 UTBK-SBMPTN Test, Undiksha Strengthens Preparations and Strict Health Protocols

Undiksha carried out preparations and simulations of health protocols in the context of UTBK 2021. This activity was attended by the Buleleng Regional Secretary who is also the secretary of the Buleleng Covid19 task force (Mr. Drs. Gede Suyasa., M.Pd), the Chancellor of Undiksha (Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M .Pd.,), Deputy Chancellor 1 and Chair of the Undiksha UTBK Center (Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.T.I.,), Deputy Chancellor 3 (Prof Wayan Suastra) and Head of UPT ICT as well as Implementing Coordinator of UTBK Undiksha (I Ketut Resika Arthana ., M.Kom) as well as the 2021 Undiksha UTBK committee.

There were 2,238 participants for this exam. Undiksha prepared nine rooms spread across four locations, namely the Engineering and Vocational Faculty, the Economics Faculty, the Language and Arts Faculty, and the Information and Communication Technology Technical Implementation Unit (UPT-TIK).

After monitoring, I Gede Suyasa said that from the technical side of the field, Undiksha had prepared very well. Room capacity is only 50 percent filled, some even 25 percent. Apart from that, implementing health protocols for the committee and participants before entering the room and providing other supporting facilities, such as hand washing stations at each exam location.

Meanwhile, Undiksha’s Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Cooperation, Rasben Dantes, explained that the exam took place in two waves. The first wave will be from 16 to 18 April 2021, and the second wave will be from 26 April to 2 May 2021. He emphasized that health protocols are a serious concern for this exam.
