In an effort to increase Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha)’s web webometrics ranking, Undiksha ICT Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) held a meeting with the Head of BKK, PLP Central Secretary, PKL Center Head, KKN Center Secretary and Undiksha Information Data Processor, Tuesday (15/3).

The meeting which was held in the Vice Rector I Undiksha room presented Made Windu Antara Kesiman, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D. who is the Head of the Undiksha BKK, the Secretary of the Center for PLP Dr.I Putu Mas Dewantara, S.Pd., M.Pd. Head of the PKL Center, Ketut Udy Ariawan, S.T., M.T., Secretary of the Center for Community Service I Made Sarmita, S.Pd., M.Sc. and Information Data Processor Putu Sociawan, S.S. In the meeting chaired by the head of UPT ICT Undiksha, I Ketut Resika Arthana, S.T., M.Kom. explained that the Undiksha website is currently participating in the webometrics ranking event which will be announced in July. So in this regard, this meeting was held for the purpose of helping to increase the ranking of the Undiksha website in the webometrics event.

Quoted from the webometrics page, currently Undiksha is ranked 4539th in the world, and ranked 62nd in Indonesia. This rating is certainly good enough, but following up on a request from the Vice Rector I, Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.T.I. want to make every effort to improve Undiksha’s website to a higher rank. By holding this meeting, it is hoped that it can help improve Undiksha’s web ranking by involving local news media and assignment of KKN/PPL/PKL students in the formulation of content in the form of informative articles that point to the Undiksha website.

It is hoped that with this opportunity, Undiksha is able to achieve better achievements than the previous rankings in national and international webometrics.
