In the Webometrics ranking announcement last January, Universitas Indonesia (UI) was ranked first in Indonesia (ranked 577 in the world). The second rank of the best universities in Indonesia, according to Webometrics 2023, is Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), ranked 678th in the world.
As a public university in Bali, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha has ranked the 33rd best university in Indonesia. In addition, this college in the North Bali stretch managed to rank 13th nationally on the Opennes indicator. This ranking rose two levels from the July 2022 edition, which was positioned 35 nationally, and jumped far from January 2022, ranked 62nd.
The webometrics version of the assessment is based on three indicators, visibility, transparency, and excellence, with their respective weights. This achievement was welcomed proudly by Undiksha Rector, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd., and other academicians.
This achievement is considered inseparable from the hard work of all parties. Rector Jampel invited this achievement to be used as motivation to continue improving and take strategic steps to achieve a better ranking.
In 2023, we also hope there will be increased support from the academic community in publishing articles/blogs on websites within Undiksha to increase content (impact rank).
